Equipment purchasing

Before you recycle it, find out if it’s worth something.

Newer laptops, smartphones, servers, networking equipment, components and other reusable technology may qualify for purchase or value recovery.

Reusable electronics prepared for testing and resale
Turn surplus equipment into value

Not everything belongs in the recycling stream.

If equipment is still useful and has market demand, resale can return more value than commodity recycling. We review age, model, specifications, condition, quantity and current demand before making an offer.

Eligible equipment is tested and processed responsibly, and data-bearing devices can be securely sanitized as part of the project.

What we may purchase

Equipment with reuse, resale or component value.

Computers

Laptops & business systems

Commercial laptops, MacBooks, workstations, desktops, mini PCs and other reusable computers.

Mobile

Smartphones & tablets

Reusable smartphones, cellphones, tablets and related devices, especially in consistent quantities.

Infrastructure

Servers & networking

Servers, storage arrays, switches, routers, enterprise networking equipment and related systems.

Components

RAM, CPUs, SSDs & GPUs

Reusable memory, processors, solid-state drives, graphics cards and other components with market demand.

Boards

Circuit boards

Select motherboards, server boards, telecom boards, PCBs and component-rich electronic material.

Other

Specialty electronics

New OEM toner and other specialized equipment may be reviewed based on model, quantity and demand.

How valuation works

There is no membership fee to have equipment reviewed. For larger qualifying commercial lots, pickup may also be available at no charge.

What affects the offer?

01 · MODEL

Age & specifications

Processor generation, memory, storage, configuration and manufacturer influence demand.

02 · CONDITION

Working & complete

Cosmetic condition, passwords, chargers and missing parts can affect value.

03 · QUANTITY

Volume & consistency

Larger, uniform lots are often more efficient to test, process and remarket.

04 · MARKET

Current demand

Technology values change with supply, resale demand and commodity markets.

Scrap and commodity value

Scrap is valued differently from reusable equipment.

Scrap computers, circuit boards and other non-reusable electronics are valued based on their potential commodity content, including recoverable copper, aluminum, steel, precious-metal-bearing boards and other material streams. Board grade, mix, quantity, processing costs and current commodity markets can all affect the value.
